The 10 bearing system starts with seven stainless steel HPCR™ bearings + one roller bearing for increased corrosion protection. The addition of two CeramiLite hybrid ceramic spool bearings results in ultimate distance with effortless handling and control throughout the cast.
The MGXtreme utilizes the IVCB-IV for cast breaking. This is a centrical breaking system that is externally adjustable, and adjustable from the outside of the reel so you can quickly fine tune on the water.
The MGXtreme is super light because of the X-Mag frame, C-6 carbon side plate, ported spool, and a ported carbon fibre handle. The handle and drag star are swept, and come with two sets of handles, round and paddle.
The MGXtreme has an aircraft grade aluminum main gear and a carbon matrix drag that provides the power you need to fish for lunkers all day long.
